Cameron Groom received a call from a wealthy client who was looking to sell his mansion located in the outskirts of Phoenix. The client, Mr. Johnson, was a recluse and had not been seen in public for years. Cameron was intrigued by the opportunity to sell a property with such a unique history.
As Cameron drove up to the mansion, he was struck by its grandeur and beauty. The mansion was surrounded by lush gardens and a high fence that provided privacy from prying eyes. Cameron was greeted by Mr. Johnson's butler, who led him into the mansion's ornate living room.
Cameron was taken aback by the opulence of the room. The walls were adorned with expensive artwork, and the furniture was made of the finest materials. Mr. Johnson appeared from a side door and greeted Cameron warmly. He was an old man with a kind face and a gentle demeanor.
After some small talk, Mr. Johnson revealed that the mansion had a mysterious history. He explained that the previous owner had disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and the mansion had been abandoned for years before he bought it. Mr. Johnson had always felt a strange presence in the mansion and believed that it was haunted.
Cameron was skeptical but intrigued. He decided to take a tour of the mansion, and Mr. Johnson obliged. As they walked through the mansion's grand halls, Cameron couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. He dismissed it as his imagination and continued the tour.
As they reached the top floor of the mansion, Cameron noticed a locked door. Mr. Johnson explained that it led to the attic, which he had never ventured into. Cameron's curiosity got the better of him, and he asked Mr. Johnson if they could open the door.
Mr. Johnson hesitated but eventually agreed. As they climbed the stairs to the attic, Cameron felt a cold breeze that sent shivers down his spine. When they reached the top, they found a room filled with dusty old furniture and boxes. Cameron noticed a book on a table, and as he picked it up, he felt a strange energy emanating from it.
As he opened the book, he saw that it contained strange symbols and incantations. Cameron felt a sudden urge to read the incantations out loud, and before he knew it, he was chanting in a language he didn't understand.
Suddenly, the room was filled with a bright light, and Cameron felt himself being lifted off the ground. He heard Mr. Johnson's voice calling out to him, but it sounded distant and muffled. Cameron felt himself being pulled into a vortex of light and sound, and then everything went black.
When Cameron woke up, he found himself in a different room. He looked around and saw that he was in a small cottage surrounded by trees. He had no idea how he had gotten there or what had happened to him. As he tried to make sense of his surroundings, he heard a voice calling out to him from outside.
Cameron walked out of the cottage and saw a woman standing in front of him. She was beautiful, with long flowing hair and piercing blue eyes. She introduced herself as Isabella and explained that she had rescued Cameron from the mansion.
Isabella revealed that she was a witch and had sensed the dark energy emanating from the mansion. She had been keeping an eye on it for years and had finally decided to investigate. When she saw Cameron chanting the incantations, she knew she had to act fast.
Cameron was shocked but grateful. Isabella explained that the mansion was cursed and that anyone who entered it was in danger. She had managed to break the curse and transport Cameron to safety.
As Cameron tried to process everything that had happened, Isabella offered to help him return to the mansion and retrieve his belongings. Cameron agreed, and they set off towards the cursed mansion, not knowing what other mysteries lay ahead.
